What are quick loans?

Our quick loans are personal loans that are just that — quick! After we’ve done the hard yards finding you the perfect lender, you can apply for any amount between $2,500 to $5,000. All of our partners are just like us: they’re lightning fast.

Do you offer cash loans with no credit check?

We can’t guarantee whether or not your lender will conduct a credit check. However, we can guarantee that all of our lending partners are responsible lenders, meaning that they will make reasonable enquiries into the suitability of their loan for you.

What is a secured personal loan?

A secured personal loan is a personal loan, usually for an amount over $2,000, that requires an asset to secure the loan. An asset could be a car, motorbike, or even a caravan. If you have any questions about what you can use as security on your loan, you can ask your lender.

About Our Loans

Am I eligible for a quick cash loan?

To find out whether you’re eligible for our lender-finding service, you’ll need to:

  • Be at least 18 years old;
  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident;
  • Have recieved a regular income for at least 90 days;
  • Have an active email address, mobile phone number, and online banking set up.
  • Can I apply if I have bad credit?

    You sure can! We have amazing partners that offer cash loans to people with bad credit. They’ll use your bank statements to conduct their financial assessment, so a bad credit score may not be an automatic “no”. They’ll look at your entire financial situation, and if their loan is suitable for you, they might be able to approve your application!

    What documents do I need to use your service?

    Trick question — nothing! You don’t need to fill out paperwork or provide us with supporting documents. All we need is some general information like your bank account details and personal contact details. All you need to do to use our service is click the ‘Apply Now’ button and get started! It’s super easy and, of course, lightning-fast.

    Will you conduct a credit check on me?

    Lightning Personal Loans likes to stick to what we do best: find the most suitable lender out there for you. We leave the application processing down to our fantastic partners. Will they conduct a credit check? Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee that they will or won’t conduct a credit check. However, our partners are inclusive lenders, so they will look at factors other than your credit score when processing your application.

    Why do you need my online banking details?

    When our lenders conduct their application assessment, they will access read-only copies of your bank statements. This is to ensure that their loan product is suitable for you. Don’t worry, they use highly innovative safe banking technology to ensure all of your information is safe and secure. Plus, they can never access your bank account.

    What happens when you find my lender?

    If we find you a suitable lender (congratulations!), we will pass you into their very capable hands. They will complete their application assessment and let you know whether they can provide you with a loan. Once they send you a copy of your loan contract, you can sign and send it back to them and you’re done! If you want something changed on your loan contract, like your loan amount or repayment period, just let them know and they’ll be happy to help.

    What happens if you don’t find a lender for me?

    Unfortunately, sometimes, we can’t always find your perfect fit. However, we will always do our absolute best to find the right lender for you.

    How will my loan repayments work?

    Unfortunately, we can’t really answer this for you as it will come down to your individual lender. However, typically, you can set up a direct debit in line with your pay cycle so your loan repayments come out automatically. If you’re unsure, ask your lender!
